My Thanksgiving 2024 Ode

From Tokyo's lights to a hospital room,

A journey begun in uncertain bloom.

Through trials and pain, a path I’ve tread,

From wheels to a cane, new hope has spread.

To hands that lifted, hearts that stayed,

Through nights of fear, through prayers conveyed.

Family, friends, and healers kind,

Your love and care, my strength refined.

Today I stand, though steps are few,

With gratitude vast, I honor you.

This Thanksgiving, my heart takes flight,

For each of you, my guiding light.
